exams and thereafter

This sem seems to zoom pass just like that. Nobody like tests, I am not exception. Most people like what comes after the exams, the long school vacation. I don't........ fish lah, another 2 months worth of mental degeneration.

At least there is taiwan to look towards to. The thoughts of going there with 2 desperate just ord guys do make me shrudder at times but I guess they could have changed that much in 2 short years. Hoepfully.

Mr. Politically Correct

As the name suggest, he is always doing politically correct things. He think long and hard before he speaks. He prepares standard answers for frequently asked questions. All this just because he wants to be politically correct. He don't want to offend anyone so he gives noncommittal answers. Everytime there is a dispute, he will stay far away. If the crowd decide on one action, he will never go against them. To the extent that it appears to people that they have no mind of their own. In meeting, they are just parroting what others has mentioned. In a casual conversation, he will be paraphasing your sentenses. Don't you just hate this kind of people?

-------this has nothing to do with the title----------------
don't you just hate it when you are trying to concentrate and someone is trying to make himself deaf?

cmb concert

Cmb should hold all their concerts in MPSH. In fact, they should arrange the chairs and switch on the air con too. Anyway, the concert was quite enjoyable.

In another ~2 months time, the senior will be leaving. I wonder how the juniors will be. Will they be as %&%^$^#%* as my blk g***ls? Looking on the bright side, they will be almost twice as many freshie girls as freshie guys.

Catching up

I realized why Singapore is often described as a fast-pace society. Everything is moving so fast that almost everyone I know is doing catching up. Just walk down my corridor (blk c lvl 6 short wing) and you will understand. If you do that, don't be surprise that there is a guy that look like some famous male "video clip personality" staying next to me (KY is really not the guy in the video). I only missed 2 days worth of lessons and I feel like I am light years behind.

Anyway, there are a few photos I would have put it up if not for the bout of flu that kept me in bed for 2 whole days. I shall post it all up now.

Uni and Hall life can be so stressful that my neighbours resort to drinking beer (which they termed as "happy juice"). Bitching sessions are also more frequent nowadays as everyone get more and more fed up with life. Lounge is also quite happening nowadays as people gather there to destress by playing boggle (which i don't really know if it's destressing). Some people even avoid their room altogether. Sigh..... uni life sux

Jason sleeping in the lounge at 10pm.

Took these 2 photos at tt's birthday. So many people are putting on braces now and turning les (just joking). And what is GL (with that kind of expression) looking at? SL?

I also notice a trend after the tammy video. Everyone seems to be comfortable with more adult themed conversation. HY shoot R rated topics off his mouth like nobody's business. Cee Star even featured tammy albeit a disgusting one. NX said things like, "I like french kiss, it's so sweet."(althought I seriously quoted her out of context). ZH has his own definition of "happy juice". Conversations in the lounge start to revolve around M word more often.

I also had a wonderful birthday. Shan't eleborate.

Initially I thought I stopped at the wrong level when I saw my door(picture below). Anyway, thanks for all the "loves" on my door. On the side note, if you are trying to be anonymous, you can try to change your handwriting or try not to ask me "ur door very nice hor".

days of carrom gone.

Days where carrom is the daily entertainment are gone. Just when I thought there was a chance of hitting the carrom striker with my fingers and sending seeds into the pocket, the blk decided that majong is more more important and converted the one and only carrom board into a majong table. How sad........

cineleisure makeover

Secondary 2 is about 8 years ago. Visiting cine leisure again sure bring back memories. All the time I spent at arcades during holidays playing virtual striker 2, catching endless movies..... sigh those were the time. Although I kinda regret wasting time then and there, I can't think of a more constructive way to spend those time anyway. Anyway, I felt like a sua ku at cine today. I never knew there is level 9. Needless to say, I don't know about the new screens, the new ultra huge and modern looking lan arena and private game rooms(which double up as a study room). Sometimes I really wish i am in secondary 2 all over again.

To those who haven't watch the movie My Girl and I, you may want to reconsider? It's funny, but not as funny as crazy first love. It's touching but not as touching as my Sassy girl. The ending is non existence. However, the lead actress is ultra sweet and pretty. That alone may be a good enough reason to part with your $7/ $8.50.

Received another egg bin as a birthday present today, that makes me an owner of 2 egg bins. I wonder why. Do I look like an egg or they know I desperately need a bin to throw away all the rubbish that is piling up in my room?

Forever changing

Everything is changing (more like upgrading). Some foreign delegate once mentioned to me when I was esorting him back to Pan Pacific Hotel, "Singapore is forever building". Somehow, I didn't realise this until he mentioned it. I guess most Singaporeans are so used to seeing construction sites poping up one after another that we are immuned to them. Can we still visit places that we spent our best times 10 or 20 years down the road? I know I can't since VS has shifted to a nice new building. Even if buildings remain where they are, they are not the same old buildings that we are familar with. VJ has added a nice student lounge (with a pool table), renovated the forum, airconditioned the hall, changed the front gate, added funky and striking pictures in E block........ (never ending list). At this rate, it won't be long before odac room is "revamped". I wonder how it will look like then.

going to watch arsenal vs real madrid now. arsenal better not lose

Deserted

Amazine discovery at Bryant's birthday: One my my secondary school friend deserted when he is halfway through NS. I though such things will only happen in war-time movies or novels. Apparently, he applied an exit permit to malaysia and from there, took a plane to canada. If you are thinking that his family condone such act and he is happily living in canada with his relatives, you are wrong. The most shocking part of the story is that he is living in a refugee camp there. What on earth was he thinking then? Leave your family for a refugee life. Nevertheless, it's a sad thing since I guess I won't be seeing him again in my life.
